Steve Wadey has spent more than thirty years establishing himself as one of the best technical coaches within swimming. 

Steve is a Swim England L4 Senior Coach, and an Institute of Swimming Teachers & Coaches Qualified Tutor/Assessor.

From 1998-2024 Steve played an intricate role within the development and success of planning, building and maintaining a highly successful competitive swimming club programme at Guildford City Swimming Club.

Over the course of twenty six years at GCSC, Steve coached a variety of swimmers to County, Regional, National, and International successes. 

As a qualified tutor, Steve believes in the importance of coach mentoring. He successfully mentors a variety of coaches. From poolside volunteers, to individuals who are selected to coach for Great Britain.

Since 2011 Steve has lead his highly successful and sought-after school holiday High Performance Camps & Clinics. These courses are geared towards improving the strokes and skills for competitive swimmers. 

Steve left Guildford City Swimming Club in July 2024 to concentrate on sharing his breadth of knowledge and diversifying to the general swimming community.
